Who is Ty Davies?
I’m Ty Davies, founder of Ty Davies Intelligence & Insight (TDii) — a consultancy built on three decades of experience delivering leadership, transformation and insight across the UK. Welsh born and bred, from Llandovery and settled in Resolven, Neath Port Talbot.
I’ve worked at the heart of some of the UK’s most challenging and rewarding environments, from large-scale financial institutions, civil aviation, with digital leaders such as BT and Virgin Media, through to housing and public services.
My career has spanned Digital transformation, Agile/Scrum delivery, Programme leadership, Cloud and AI strategy — always with a focus on unlocking value, building resilient teams, and making technology work for people.
What sets me apart isn’t just the technical knowledge I’ve built up over the years, but the perspective shaped by my roots. I’m proudly Welsh, raised in a community where service, fairness, and resilience weren’t abstract ideas — they were lived values. Those values drive me today, whether I’m helping organisations navigate complex change or ensuring that transformation delivers real outcomes for communities.
Beyond consultancy, I’m passionate about giving back.
Through my wife and I’s Mission 2535 homeless support group, I’ve been proud to work alongside incredible people, providing meals, advice, and care packs to help them get through the week ahead.
I am passionate about tackling Wales’s digital exclusion and creating opportunities for people who might otherwise be left behind. From leading device redeployment projects that put technology directly into the hands of communities, to mentoring and supporting grassroots organisations, this work connects deeply with my belief in a fairer, more inclusive Wales.
After 30 years in leadership, delivery, and strategy across the UK, my mission is simple: to use that experience to make digital change purposeful, ethical, and impactful.
